Indian Rosewood (Delbergia Latifolia; Delbergia Sisso)

Grown in India and south-east Asia, rosewood is one of the most widely used woods in making high-end guitars.

Rosewood displays purple to brown hues, is very dense and produces a strong distinguishable fundamental tone. It is extremely appealing visually. Supply is, however, becoming difficult.

10% of Carson Crickmore Guitars are produced in rosewood.
